Computer matching works extremely efficiently. Here at Julie Rayner we use specifically commissioned computer software.

Once we have received your completed questionnaire, we carry out a compatibility search on your behalf, based on the information you have provided. The most compatible matches will be found and sent to you in the form of a comprehensive profile of each person. At the same time your details will then be available to circulate to other members.

Security is of primary importance and to this end, to safeguard our members' privacy, we only use first names. We never print surnames and we never print addresses. Contact is made by telephone or by letter, these always being forwarded on via the office, thus ensuring your privacy.

We are not able to put the chemistry or personality into the equation; this is only possible once the individuals meet.

Your Next Step

1. If you have downloaded the questionnaire on-line then return it to the office which covers your area (see areas from the office buttons) together with your remittance. You will then receive a printout of compatible profiles, normally within a few days, along with details of your own membership.

2. The printout will contain all the information you need to make your first contact. Members can be contacted in various ways:

(a) If the member has given a telephone number, you may call them.
(b) If no telephone number is given, you make contact by writing a letter and sending it to the person concerned, care of the office.  Full instructions on the procedure will be given when you join.

3. It should also be remembered that your individual profile will be circulated and other members will be able to contact you.

4. At any time during your membership, further printouts can be obtained free of charge by writing to your local office, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope and quoting your membership number (this is most important). New names will then be dispatched to you as quickly as possible.

5. Finally, a set of comprehensive guidelines will be issued along with your first batch of profiles.  This offers practical advice on how to go about making your first contacts, i.e. places to meet, times, how to recognise one another etc.
